A defined scope for the engine and its installation
We identify the equipment and review the requested work before confirming attendance, parts and handling requirements.
Diesel and petrol engines
Scheduled and hour-based maintenance, fault diagnostics and repairs. CATMAR is an Official Volvo Penta Service and an Official Yamaha Marine Service. We confirm the applicable work for each make and model.
Propulsion, steering and controls
Inspection of sterndrives, transmissions, steering, trim and controls within the agreed scope. We service Castoldi equipment according to the model and installation.
Cooling and auxiliary components
Assessment of the components involved in alarms, loss of power, cooling problems or leaks. Diagnostics establish the repair scope before components are replaced.
Onboard and workshop work
Access to the tender or transfer of the engine or vessel is coordinated according to the work and available handling arrangements. Scheduling is confirmed before resources are mobilised.

Superyacht tender maintenance and repair
Maintenance and repairs on Volvo Penta D6 engines and DPH propulsion, including work on cooling, steering and driveline components.
Engine maintenance
Oil and filter service, replacement of seawater pumps and bilge cleaning.
Cooling circuit
Removal of the heat exchanger, intercooler and fuel cooler; cleaning of deposits and replacement of seals and O-rings before reassembly.
Steering and propulsion
Repairs to steering components, trim and controls. Replacement of the universal-joint assembly and bearing affected by water ingress through the drive bellows.
Completion records for the crew
Photographic records of the work and maintenance recommendations adapted to the installation and the craft's stowage arrangements.
The tenders were operational on completion of the maintenance and repairs.

Our workshops are at Port Balís and Port Masnou. We coordinate attendance at Marina Port Vell, Marina Vela, Port Fòrum, Marina Port Tarraco and other local marinas according to location, scope and access requirements.
For vessels at MB92, access and work are coordinated in advance with the project contact. These locations describe service coverage; our workshops are at Port Balís and Port Masnou.

What do you need to assess a tender fault?
Location, make and model, hours if known, operating status, alarms or symptoms and available dates. Include the technical contact and access constraints. If photographs or further records are needed, we will agree how to provide them.
Can you work on a tender carried onboard a yacht?
We review access and handling arrangements to determine whether the work can be carried out onboard or requires launching, dismantling or workshop transfer. Scheduling is confirmed before attendance.
Do you attend tenders in Tarragona?
Yes. We coordinate work in Tarragona, including Marina Port Tarraco, according to the equipment, scope and access. Our workshops are at Port Balís and Port Masnou.
Do you repair every make and propulsion system?
We first identify the engine, propulsion and installation, then confirm the capability and scope for the enquiry. A make being mentioned does not imply coverage of every model.
